The 8th Annual Harlem Book Fair on Long Island (HBF-LI) presents a great opportunity to bring African-American authors, artists, poets, performers and vendors together with the Long Island community. The daylong event features book signing by noted authors, panel discussions, ethnic music and dance, fiction and nonfiction books, vendors, and a Children’s Pavilion with its own featured authors, storytellers and face painters. HBF-LI will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010, 12 noon - 6 p.m. at the Freeport Recreation Center, 130 East Merrick Road, Freeport NY. Please NOTE:
The Harlem Book Fair on Long Island (HBF-LI) will be held on Saturday 9/18/2010, from 12 noon until 6:00 pm. Set-up time for vendors begins at 9:30 am. Vendors must be set-up by 11:45 am.
HBF-LI is now an indoor event, in an air-conditioned area.
No refunds will be issued. No space-sharing is allowed.
The cost of one (1) table and two (2) chairs are included in the vendor fee.
NO TENT RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE. Vendors may bring their own tent, the size of which cannot exceed 10'x10'. Vendors with tents may also bring additional table and chairs to place under the tent.
Participation indicates agreement with all terms.
