African Atlantic Genealogical Society (AAGS) Web-Site!
The African Atlantic Genealogical Society was established in 1994. It was chartered as a non-profit organization in 1996 and is now tax exempt under Article 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to provide genealogical research assistance to anyone whose ancestors have had an African and/or an Atlantic crossing experience. We are also committed to conducting investigative research that adds to the body of genealogical and historical knowledge. Currently there are three AAGS chapters, that meet on a monthly basis:
